How do office proposals work?
A proposal sets out your private office, monthly fee, term, start date and set-up fee. Accept it online, then sign the licence agreement in the member portal.
After a tour or an enquiry, we can email you a proposal for a private office. You don't need an account to open it.
What's in a proposal
- The office and how many people it fits
- The monthly fee, term and start date
- The one-off set-up fee
- The launch offer, if it applies
- The date it's valid until
Accepting it
- Open the email and choose View your proposal.
- Enter the business legal name, the ABN if you have one, and the signatory's name and email.
- Confirm you're authorised to accept for the business, then choose Accept proposal.
Accepting doesn't commit you yet. The licence agreement sets out the full terms.
What happens next
The signatory gets an email with the licence agreement. Its link signs them in to the member portal to read and sign it. See Signing in with an emailed link.
Early access
If your start date is up to 3 months away, you may be offered early access: use of your office before the agreement starts. The signatory accepts it in the member portal and pays the one-off set-up fee.
If your agreement is reissued, the set-up fee you paid carries over to the new one. If the agreement is withdrawn:
- by us: the set-up fee is refunded to the card you paid with
- because you decide not to sign: the set-up fee isn't refunded, as the early access terms say
The notice in the member portal tells you which applies.
If the proposal won't open
- Expired: a proposal is valid until the date it shows. Email workspace@blackvc.com.au for an updated one.
- Replaced: we've sent a newer proposal. Use the link in the latest email.
- Office no longer available: email workspace@blackvc.com.au and we'll find you another office.
